Ergonomics
Employees with ergonomic needsduring the COVID-19 pandemic and the current hybrid work model are allowed to make purchases to accommodate their needs. SCM has partnered with the University’s Be Well at Work Ergonomics Programand CDW-G to ensure approved ergonomic peripherals (i.e. keyboard, mouse, footrest, laptop riser, etc.) are available for purchase.

Please use the BearBUY punchout catalogs (see Recommended Suppliers section below) to make ergonomic and essential peripheral purchases, using the designated Generic Ship-To Address code mentioned (WFHGENERIC) in this quick reference guide (revised on 03/31/2022) to have your orders delivered directly to your California home address.
If your home address is located outside the State of California, please submit a ServiceNow ticket to request that a unique Ship-To Address Code be created for you. Please include the physical address, business justification, and department's financial approval.
PLEASE NOTE: All orders must be charged against departmental funds. The University does not have a dedicated COVID-19 budget to reimburse departments for these purchases.

If you have an essential purchase for federally funded goods or capital assets that cannot be shipped to an open campus receiving location, please submit a ServiceNow ticket to request that a unique Ship-To Address Code be created for you. Please include the physical address, business justification, and department's financial approval. Also, attach a copy of the grant/contract allowing such purchase and shipment.

Please be aware that some Suppliers in BearBUY are unable to process and ship electronic orders to home addresses.
